CHALLENGE
Sustainability was the main focus of 2019’s communication strategy for DHM.
Without a Planet, there will be no Hotels and therefore its management should also contribute to the well-being of its natural enclosures.
With that in mind, we were challenged to develop a sustainable stand, from material choices, environment design, and future repurposing of its pieces.
STRATEGY
We aimed at a 360º experience with all senses in mind.
To touch and smell living plants, hear a waterfall so as to envelop the visitors in green lush foliage.
With no “earth no hotels” we pushed our guests (and our hotel bar) into nature itself.
RESULTS
We’ve limited the recourse of non-renewable materials and designed all decor pieces with repurposing in mind.
Apart from that, we used “fallen wood” collected from a nearby forest to provide added foliage on low-impact and sustainable resources.
A stand that stood apart, a green oásis on concrete flooring.
