CHALLENGE
When DHM acquired this hotel it wanted to give it a differentiated brand image, in line with the group's positioning.
Bringing the Azores to the forefront of the brand, with an explicit luxury feeling was the main goal.
STRATEGY
Azor is more than a shortening of "Azores", where the hotel unit is located.
It's also the name of a bird that inhabits the island.
The main goal was to blend both location and iconography. The first was accomplished in part with the naming but another layer was infused with the recourse of terrain maps of its implantation.
The second was an integration of the iconic Azor bird with a modern and minimalistic approach.
RESULTS
Being a modern and minimalistic designed hotel unit, the proposed design for branded materials was one of singular attention.
Not to draw attention but to give room and space for relaxation where the focus of brand visibility.
A solid but non-intrusive approach to brand collaterals.
